Dundee Oor Willie Bucket Trail

My wife decided that she wanted to do this, so between Thu 14th and Sat 23rd Aug we toured Angus and Dundee getting each one bagged.

Photographs were either taken by myself or Sabhia Morris.

Here we go for all 55 locations.   Enjoy.

As well as the Bucket Trail, we caught up with the touring Willies during their visit to Perth so here are another 11 which were added to the tally.

Llangollen Railway

On Sun 10th July we went to Llangollen for a trip on the Standard Gauge Heritage Railway which runs along the Dee Valley from Llangollen to Corwen East, a distance of around 11 Miles.

Scenery on this line is absolutely charming and the line is well worth a visit.

Here are some photo’s from the trip.

Welshpool and Llanfair Narrow Gauge Railway

One of my interests is in Steam Railways.   So whilst on holiday near the Welsh border in early July it was only a short drive to this interesting railway.   Visit took place on Sat 09 July 2016.

The railway runs for 8 Miles from Welshpool to Llanfair Caerinion.

Here are some photo’s from the visit.
